Miriam Ellen Ewers, received her MFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006 and Bachelors of Fine Art in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2000. Her works have been shown at ADA Gallery, Richmond, VA, Kim Foster Galley, New York, New York, Monte Vista Gallery, Los Angles, California, The Washington Project for the Arts Corcoran Flashpoint Gallery, Washington, DC, The Contemporary Art Center of Virginia, Virginia Beach, VA, and was a featured artist in the Texas Biennial 13, at the Blue Star Contemporary Arts Center, San Antonio, Texas.
